Busted Bucket Farm Cooperative

Busted Bucket Farm Coop is Matt Gunter’s personal farm where he and his associates learn by doing. It is an experimental farm where management techniques are learned and improved upon for both crops and livestock.

When it comes to crops, we have trialed everything from cane sorghum to specialty vegetables and just about everything in between from hay to potatoes.

For livestock we currently raise pigs, goats, sheep, geese, chickens, bees.  We test out different containment and feeding systems and products.

We also routinely do experiments to try out various value-added processing techniques, from various machinery and milling tests, to slaughtering systems, to chicken tractors, coolers, and plucking machines.
